Lot Details

small covered box of greyish clay. On an indented base, the body of slightly flaring cylindrical form; the flat cover with an everted rim and low onion shaped knop. The whole excluding the resting surface and the rims with a white glaze. Outline painted and filled underglaze blue decoration around the body with three floral motifs set in arched lotus panels and on the cover with two horses and stylised leaves. Cat.
